"Tag"

****BEFORE I GET STARTED- I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE.  Within the next few days, we will no longer be danandmelaniemarsh.blogspot.com.
The new address to find the Marshes will be pickledblu.blogspot.com. We are not there yet because I have not changed the name. I am changing the name so that all of the content will be the same, but once that happens from what I understand, there will bo nothing left at danandmelaniemarsh. So be on the lookout- I am thinking Thursday April 14th sounds like a good day!*****

We had company this weekend- it was of the old college friends variety. It is so much different now that we all have children- in a good way of course. They stopped at our house after hitting a Braves game and Stone Mountain, so we really didn't feel any pressure to entertain...just exist and it was just what the Dr. ordered.

Here is the oldest, Tyler and his mom is in the background. This picture of her is cruel because she has her hoody pulled up against and unusally cold spring morning and has not put in her contacts yet.

When ready for the camera she is one of those unassumning beautiful ladies that manages to keep an awesome figure. I have no idea HOW she does it. Maybe it has something to do with the purposeful running that she does. Meaning, she goes out and runs. No bears or dogs are chasing her- she does it on her own free will. I don't get it.

Jack had an ABSOLUTE ball with the Big Boys. He apparently either could not or preferred not to call Tyler buy his name and went instead with Tag, which we all decided was a pretty darn cool name, so maybe it will stick!

Adam, their youngest has a new best friend! He was so enamoured with our female whippet Lucy! It was really sweet!

The big boys were VERY tolerant of our little two year old who is in the phase of saying things over and over and over and over and over and over....
You get the idea!

I think they all had fun. I know the momma's and the daddy's did! We just cooked and ate and talked. It was the kind of company that I could  leave to take Jack to a birthday party and come home to find "the momma" in the kitchen whipping up homemade mashed potatoes and "the daddy" took over my pancakes for me on Sunday morning and EVEN CLEANED THE KITCHEN! (uh- hello- the Braves play all summer and you are welcome to come back anytime). I dare say all of the entertaining that Jack got from the boys even served as a bit of a break for Big D and I!

Thanks Carlisle's! We had fun- you can come on over to Georgia any old time! ( yes we have a trailer parked in our back yard- so?)
