Real Food - FINALLY!

So I decided to go ahead without the go ahead ( from the doc) to feed Jack rice cereal. I think that is the happiest that I have seen him to date! That is saying a lot, because Jack is happy baby. He cooed and squealed and grinned ear to ear. He "got" the swallowing thing almost immediately. He was born for this! A natural! No doubt he will probably love food as much as his mommy and daddy! Do you think I have time to get him ready to eat Thanksgiving with us? Don't be scared...I was just kidding! But next year, oh next year, look out for Jack!

Fall

It's so nice to have cool weather. It seems like we skipped fall and went straight to winter! The pansy's are planted and the bushes pruned...bring on the cold weather! I am ready to snuggle down in my jammies with my two main squeezes and have an excuse for that extra layer of fat lingering around post baby ( post baby is getting a little old...I think you can only use that for a few months). Now that it is cold, we can call the extra tummy storage for the winter, for warmth, for whatever...I can wear sweaters that cover it up!
Well, here are a couple of pictures from the few days of mild cool weather. We had a glorious day for Taste of Acworth. It was good to spend time with Aunt Rayna and Uncle Randy!

Fall

Last weekend we took Jack to get his first pumpkin! We went to the pumkin patch and he picked out a big one! He has slept from about 10 pm until 5 am for 3 nights in a row now. It will be nice if we can get into a routine! Today we go to the "Taste of Acworth" to enjoy some outside time. I will have pictures of that up soon....for now, here are some of Jack and his first pumpkin!

It has been three months already...I cannot believe it! Everyone says that it goes by so fast...I never doubted that, but I also underestimated how fast fast could be! Jack has been such a miracle to Dan and I. He is just the best, cutest, sweetest thing either of us have ever seen! He is already cooing and goo gooing! I love to hear his little sounds. When I go to get him out of the bed each morning, he gives me the BIGGEST smile! It is the best way a person could start their day : )

Anyway, I am way behind on pictures...here are a couple from when we went to Alabama!
