Jack's Very Own Bathroom

I could NOT be happier with the way it turned out!
We have had this tile for quite some time. Luckily, Dan has been so busy, he has not had time to install it. I will never complain when he is busy! We had replaced the cultured marble counter top a long time ago with a very light brown marble. I really wanted carrera, but I am still happy with the look of this one. I think it adds a little warmth to an otherwise very cool colored bathroom.

I really did not think I wanted to do a duck theme, but Jack likes them so much....it just sort of happened!
I got the shower curtain through Amazon and the duck rug came from overstock place that I cannot even remember the name of lots of lutz or something like that?
I am still not sold on the navy accent duck towels, but I do like the way they coordinate with the "Bath Time" picture you can see hanging over the toilet. I got it a few months ago at an antique shop that I frequent.

The mirror is a LONG story. The ending turned out good and that is all that matters. The original one that we bought was WAAAAY to small. It was 26" in length. It was just not big enough. I had my heart set on the pivot mirror in an oval shape though, so I was not going to give up. The more I searched, the more discouraged I became. Restoration Hardware, Kholer, Rohl, they all had larger sizes, but I would have to pay AT LEAST $350 to get one. NO WAY! I am way to cheap for that! Finally, Dan had a brainstorm....we used the clips from the tilt mirror that I bought and he went out and found an inexpensive oval beveled mirror that we just hung from the pivot brackets! It is the perfect size!
I LOVE IT!
I hope that Jack does too!
